Reasons For Selecting Immigration Candidates With Canadian Experience

In the weeks since Canada declared travel limitations in response to the crisis of coronavirus, Refugees, Immigration, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has raised the number of Express Entry draws.

Before the travel limitations, IRCC normally held Express Entry draws every couple of weeks, and normally on Wednesday. Since the travel limitations, it has conducted 6 draws, including two Express Entry draws on the same day, and 4 draws in one week.

In addition, IRCC’s latest immigration programs like Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot and Atlantic Immigration Pilot grant restricted streams for those applicants with Canadian experience.

It is also deserving of pointing out that Express Entry’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) allows candidates with Canadian experience to receive a greater CRS score.
