The states of Victoria and Queensland are presently accepting applications for Skilled Nominated Visa.

The Government in Victoria made the announcement through its website regarding accepting applications for nomination in the Skilled and Business Migration Program.

There is a suggestion that the new process is applicable regarding the applications in occupations in the Building, Engineering, and Nursing Sectors. The new process has state selection prior to filing nomination application in Victorian visa. Applicants for other occupations have to submit their applications directly without getting selected by the state.
