Manitoba Immigration: Issues 153 Invitations To Apply For Canada PR

Manitoba PNP has invited 153 immigration applicants to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination in a draw that conducted on 9 April 2020.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee (MPNP) Program invited contestants who had recorded an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile by one of the 3 immigration streams.

Here are the numbers of invitations to apply, also identified as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), which were declared from each stream:

• Stream of Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 123 ITAs or LAAs
• Stream of International Education: 14 ITAs or LAAs
• Stream of Skilled Workers Overseas: 16 ITAs or LAAs

In the total 153 invitations to apply, 15 invitations were announced to applicants who had a valid profile in the pool of Express Entry.

Manitoba PNP’s Expression of Interest system

To be invited to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination by both the categories of Skilled Workers Overseas & Skilled Workers in Manitoba, contestants need to register an E.O.I with the Manitoba PNP.

An E.O.I is a profile that is provided with a rank based on the secured score out of 1,000 points. The points are granted for a candidate’s age, background of education, work experience, attachments to the province of Manitoba & ability in the languages of English and/or French, along with other parameters.

In the most recent draw, immigration applicants invited below the Stream of Skilled Workers Overseas need to have a minimum score of 742 points in order to secure an ITA from Manitoba PNP for Canada PR. Applicants invited below the Stream of Skilled Workers in Manitoba need to have a minimum score of 500 points in order to secure an ITA from Manitoba PNP for Canada PR.

Manitoba foreign student graduates with required in-demand skills may get an invitation to apply below the Stream of International Education for Canada PR.

This stream has three sub-categories: 

• The Pathway of Student Entrepreneur;
• The Pathway of Graduate Internship; and
• The Pathway of Career Employment;
