Britain Relies Heavily On Indian Health Care Professionals

The report by the Britain’s National Health Service has revealed that Indian nurses are highly recruited in the United Kingdom to serve the health care industry. The report says that Indian nurses hired during the period between 2009 and 2015 were the highest among all the non-European countries.

The Migration Advisory Committee the body that issue guidelines to the UK government said that Indians and Philippines are good at English, and that makes more eligible for recruitment.

Nursing in Britain is listed on the Shortage Occupation list, and Indian nurses take the maximum share of 37 percent in taking the Skilled Visas to the United Kingdom. The report was exclusively for the period between 2009 and 2015.

Indian physicians opined of discrimination, but, that is not stopping the United Kingdom from granting visas to Indian health care professionals. Indians are skillful and hardworking they meet the standards set by the United Kingdom.
