BC PNP Tech Pilot: Latest Draw Issues 80 Invitations For Canada PR

British Columbia provincial immigration issued 80 Invitations to apply to immigration aspirants with an offer of employment in the British Columbia province’s technology sector in order to apply for a provincial nomination of British Columbia for Canada PR.

The Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia (B.C P.N.P) Tech Pilot draw that took place on 3 March 2020 issued invitations to apply to candidates below the BC Express Entry and BC Skills immigration categories.

The Chosen candidates from the BC Skilled Worker and BC International Graduate subcategories demanded a minimum of 90 provincial score points. The Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia's Tech Pilot is an immigration fast-track pathway for in-demand technology workers and also for international students.

In order to be counted and eligible for this program, aspirants need to be in one of the British Columbia’s existing provincial immigration streams and also need to have a valid offer of a  job that is for a minimum tenure of 12 months in one of the listed BC Tech Pilot’s 29 qualified occupations.

In order to apply for the BC Skills Immigration or BC Express Entry categories candidates should first produce a profile by the British Columbia Provincial Program’s online portal and enroll below the British Columbia PNP’s Registration System of Skills Immigration (S.I.R.S).

Aspirants are assessed and also issued a point’s score that depends on factors like level of education, age of the candidate, skilled work experience, knowledge in English and employment location.

Applicants of Federal Express Entry who receive the British Columbia provincial nomination will be awarded an additional 600 CRS points toward their Federal Express Entry Cumulative Comprehensive Ranking System (C.R.S) score and are finally guaranteed with an Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canada PR in a prospective federal Express Entry draw.
