British Columbia Comes Up With Immigration Tech-Pilot

The modern times witness great demand for talents which has outpaced supply in several spheres. British Columbia as a dynamic province of Canada has come forward with measures to welcome professionals, experts and technology graduates to the province.

The new Technical Pilot forms an essential part of the Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia, which represents a dynamic Provincial Nominee Program of Canada.

The aim here is to invite deserving candidates to apply, for a job offer in 32 occupations, which are eligible for the provincial nomination. These will lay the foundation to Apply for Canadian PR.

These invitations are scheduled to be issued week by week to the professionals who have registered and become qualified in the BC Provincial Nominee Program system. Other initiatives have been designed to cater to inviting non-technical candidates. Candidates getting the offer in the Technical Pilot scheme will witness fast processing. 

Applicants are required to have a full-time, job offer of indeterminate variety from an eligible employer in British Columbia. The categories vary for individuals under the System of registration considering the work experience, job, and education criteria.

After a candidate determines the eligible category, he/she can opt for registering online free of cost and is entitled to get a registration score. A tech draw will be conducted every week and the PNP will invite to the top scorers among the candidates who are registered in the technology sector. The invited candidates will be given 30 days (from the date of invitation) to give an online application which should be complete in every manner. The requisite application fee to government is $700.

The tech applications will be processed based on priority. Upon approval, the applicant is sent a nomination that he/she can use for applying for PR.

The persons Nominated should meet the required conditions to be eligible to get a support letter regarding work permit. This permits them to obtain/renew their currently valid work permit which allows them to continue to work in the process.
