Australia New Regional Visa: Permanent Residency And Stay Requirements

David Coleman, the Immigration Minister, Australia confirmed that the government will scrutinize bank details, as well as residential details of a regional visa holder at the time of assessing the application for permanent residency. The migrants have to prove their status of stay in the regional areas of Australia.

November 2019 will see the new visas

Two skilled regional visas will be introduced in November 2019 requiring the skilled migrants to live/work in regional Australia, and also will take effect for the path to apply for PR after they spend three years in a region. The specific details of these new visas were not revealed by the Home Affairs Department. At the time of applying after completing three years, the visa holders must show through the bank details, payment details, and the residential data highlighting the fact of their stay for three years.
