127th Express Entry Draw: Issued 3,900 Invitations To Apply For Canada PR

Canada conducted an 127^th Express Entry draw on 2 October 2019, announcing a sum of 3,900 invitations to appeal for Canada PR. Applicants in the pool of Express Entry required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 464 and higher to be chosen in this round.

The latest draw was an improvement of 300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) over the former draw took place on 18 September. The last time Refugees, Immigration, and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C) invited 3,900 Express Entry applicants to appeal for Canadian PR was on 23 January 2019.

The Express Entry is Canada’s primary source of skilled immigrant workers. Qualified applicants enter the pool of Express Entry and are assigned a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that depends on their age, educational background, skilled work experience and knowledge in English or French, along with other factors.

An employment offer is not needed to access or be chosen from the pool of Federal Express Entry. The highest-ranked applicants are invited to appeal for Canadian PR during periodic draws from the pool.

In order to access the pool of Express Entry, applicants must initially satisfy the eligibility conditions for one of Canada’s 3 Federal High Skilled immigration categories in economic-class -

• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Trades Class
• Federal Skilled Worker Class

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C) practiced a rule of tie-break in the draw that took place on 2 October 2019; applicants who have presented their profiles prior to 20 Sept 2019, at 15:05:04 UTC. That means that all aspirants with C.R.S scores over 464, as well as those with equal to 464 who registered their profile in the pool of Express Entry prior to this date and time, got an ITA.

The 3,900 ITAs announced in the recent draw brought the entire number of invitations announced in 2019 to 67,300.

If managed over the last quarter of 2019, the expanded draw size could benefit IRCC exceed its single-year 89,800 invitations record that was established in the last year. IRCC probably break this record and achieve immigration targets for Express Entry in the years 2019 and 2020.
