Canadian immigration officials match the most significant number of ITA's and the lowest score of Comprehensive Ranking System in 2018 for the current Express Entry Draw. The rare Monday draw viewed 3,900 ITA’s announced with a least CRS score requirement of 440.

Express Entry Draw Details

It was the 03rd draw in 2018 in which 3,900 ITA's have been announced, and the 5th to have a least CRS score of 440. The Oct 15 draw makes the entire ITA's announced in 2018 to 70,300, as Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada strives towards its high-skilled migration goal of 74,900.

It was the 22nd round of requests below Canada Express Entry in 2018 and this draw number 102. I.R.C.C can instantly set a specific number of invitations to be announced.

Where the candidate's number with the weakest score exceeds the number of invitations allowed, officials give preference to the profiles that have been in the pool of Express Entry for a long time.

Thus, if higher than one applicant has the weakest score, the cut-off depends on the time and date they presented their profiles in Express Entry. The most significant number of applicants invited in a single draw since the modification is 3,900.

Express Entry Change

The current format permits immigration officials excellent control to perform a more fine-tuned approach for selecting a specific number of applicants to be announced an ITA.  The prior system did not permit this.

Despite the current change, the recent draw sustained the trend below the System of Express Entry where the weakest CRS score was well under 500. It was the 32nd Express Entry draw since immigration officials essentially modified the Express Entry CRS on Jun 6, 2017.
