Once your Visa application is passed, an email or SMS will be sent to your registered number or Email advising about your outcome. You can make a print out for your future records. However, Australia has free-label visa program which mean you need not to staple visa label in your passport and most importantly your bio-data details will be stored electronically, in case if you would like to change you need to prior intimate department before you travel.
